A few more details

Good questions.
Clear answers.

What makes SpendVision different from a bank app?

A bank transaction usually tells you the merchant and total. SpendVision also turns receipts into itemized records, so you can see what you bought, what each item cost, and the tax or tip.

Do I need to connect a bank account?

You can upload receipts to create itemized spending records. Connecting accounts through Plaid brings bank transactions into the same app when you want that wider view.

How do receipts and bank transactions fit together?

A receipt becomes its own itemized transaction. When a bank transaction and receipt describe the same purchase, you can merge the related records in the app.

Can I correct a scanned receipt?

Yes. AI extraction can make mistakes. You can review the result and edit item names, categories, prices, and quantities, as well as transaction details such as the amount and date.

Where can I get SpendVision?

SpendVision is currently in development for Android. A public download is not available on this website yet. The examples here give you a look at how it works.
